In a shocking incident, an elderly man slapped two IRCTC pantry workers for "accidentally" serving him non-vegetarian food onboard the Vande Bharat Express train on July 26. The man was travelling from Howrah to Ranchi when the alleged incident occurred. It is reported that the pantry workers accidentally served non-veg food to the elderly man who, without reading the label, ate the food. However, while eating, the man realised he was served non-vegetarian food which irked him. Following this, he called the pantry workers and slapped them. However, the elderly man's act backfired as other passengers confronted him for his behaviour. They asked the elderly man to apologise to the pantry workers. A video of the incident surfaced online shows a man asking the elderly man to apologise to the pantry workers. "Just because you sit in Vande Bharat, you do not get any right to hit a poor man," a second man said. Cockroach Found in Food Served on Vande Bharat Express Train, Indian Railways Responds (See Pic).
