In a remarkable act of dedication, an SDRF jawan dived into River Ganga to save a Kanwariya at Uttarakhand's Haridwar. The incident occurred at Haridwar's Kangra Ghat and was recorded on camera. The Uttarakhand Police said the man, "Shiv Bhakt" from Delhi, was taking a bath at Kangra Ghat but started getting swept away in the strong currents of River Ganga. Upon noticing this, SDRF jawan HC Aashiq Ali jumped into the Ganga River and pulled the man out safely and saved his life. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media.
