Sayed Mushtaq Bukhari, the BJP candidate from the Surankote Assembly Constituency of Jammu and Kashmir, passed away at age 75 after suffering a heart attack. Bukhari had been unwell for some time and collapsed at 7 a.m. on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son. Bukhari’s passing comes shortly after voting in Surankote was held during the second phase on September 25.
