Former BJP MP Sanjaykaka Patil joined the Ajit Pawar-led NCP today, October 25. Patil joined the Nationalist Congress Party in the presence of Deputy CM and party chief Ajit Pawar ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections 2024. Besides Patil, BJP leader Nishikant Bhosale Patil also joined the NCP. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Thursday, October 24, told the Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction to file a fresh undertaking that the apex court's earlier order on the use of the "clock" symbol by it will be meticulously complied with for the state Assembly elections.
