Malviya shared the brief seven-second clip on ‘X’, commenting that the “swagger of Mamata Banerjee’s poster boy, accused of rape, has vanished”. Malviya further cautioned that this is the destiny that awaits individuals like Saokat Mollah, Jehangir Khan, and others who have instigated a wave of fear across Bengal. A video has surfaced on social media in which Sheikh Shahjahan breaks down as he speaks to his family members. Malviya warned that no one would come to their rescue when the law catches up with them, not even Mamata Banerjee, who he claims was unable to protect her own ministers. Shahjahan, who is facing charges of sexual assault and land grabbing, was apprehended in Minakhan, North 24 Parganas district, earlier this year after eluding both state and central agencies for over a month.
