In a shocking incident, miscreants riding bikes opened fire on a school bus in Deoband town in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur, causing panic among the students. The bus, belonging to Sarvodaya Gyan Public School, was carrying around 20 children when the attack occurred. The incident took place on Saturday at approximately 1:10 pm. Ravi Kumar, the bus driver and a resident of Bhayla Kalan, was on his way to drop off students in Diwalheri village. According to his complaint to the police, five miscreants on a bullet and a bike attempted to stop the bus near the canal ahead of Maqbara village in Deoband. When Ravi did not comply and drove away, the miscreants fired several rounds at the bus. Fortunately, no students were injured, although bullets struck the bonnet and the body of the bus. The incident has left students and parents in a state of panic. Police have launched a probe and a manhunt has been launched to nab the miscreants.
