In a shocking incident, a senior citizen was shot and robbed at gunpoint in Ashtavinayak Nagar in Maharashtra's Nanded city. The victim, identified as Ravindra Joshi, was returning home from a bank with Rs 40,000 when he was accosted by two individuals on a motorcycle near his residence. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media. The video shows the robbers attempting to snatch Joshi's bag of money. During the altercation, Joshi was shot twice, once in his hand and once in his leg. The assailants managed to abscond with the money and fled the scene on their two-wheeler. Joshi, who sustained injuries in the attack, is currently receiving treatment in a local hospital.
