The Delhi High Court, on Thursday, October 5, expressed concerns over the worsening air quality in the state, stating that it was difficult to survive in the national capital due to toxic air quality. However, the High Court also observed that the significance of "socio-cultural activities" like Dussehra cannot be overlooked while granting permitting Dussehra celebration at district park. "We are Choking", the Delhi High Court said. It also stated that the air quality in Delhi in the past few years skyrocketed to such toxic levels that it has become difficult to survive.
