Randhir Jaiswal took to X, formerly twitter and shared the news. A 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, Jaiswal has served as India's consul general in New York in his previous posting. Additionally, he held the role of joint secretary at the MEA's headquarters in New Delhi, overseeing India's relationships with nations in Western Europe. According to reports, Arindam Bagchi has been appointed as India's permanent representative to the United Nations (UN) and other international organisations in Geneva.
