Increase Gap Between Two Doses of Covishield to 12-16 Weeks: Govt Panel

The gap between two doses of the Covishield vaccine can be increased to 12-16 weeks, a government panel recommended on Thursday. No changes were suggested in dosage for Covaxin, the second of two vaccines in use in India at this time, which remains at four to six weeks.

It is second time in three months that Covishield dosage intervals have been increased, in March it was increased from 28 days to six-eight weeks.
