As the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) gears up for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday advised party leaders to start working to reach out to voters. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2-day BJP National Executive meeting in New Delhi, PM Modi told party workers to work with full discipline. While speaking about the event, Devendra Fadnavis said that "The Prime Minister categorically said that the ministers should reach out to the Pasmanda Muslim community and educate them about the government-run programmes without thinking "whether they vote for the party or not". According to Fadnavis, PM Modi also asked party workers and ministers to refrain from making unsolicited remarks against the Muslim community.
