Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a one-day visit to Maharashtra today, October 5, where he paid tribute at the Samadhis of Sant Sevalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj in Washim. Earlier in the day, he engaged with local culture by trying his hand at a traditional dhol at the Jagdamba Mata Temple in Poharadevi. During this visit, PM Modi is set to inaugurate various infrastructure projects totalling over INR 50,000 crore, including the first phase of the Mumbai Metro Line-3. Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate five solar parks in Washim. He will also disburse the 18th instalment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, amounting to approximately INR 20,000 crore for around 9.4 crore farmers.
