Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Uttarakhand on Thursday, October 12. He did puja in Pithoragarh's Parvati Kund. PM Modi, who is in the hill state for a day, also sought blessings from the holy Adi-Kailash at his abode. The place is world-renowned for its spiritual significance as well as its unrivalled and magnificent natural beauty. PM Modi also visited Gunji village and spoke with the residents. The latter also visited Jageshwar Dham in Uttarakhand's Almora after virtually addressing the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present at the shrine in Almora. During his one-day visit to the state, he will also lay the groundwork for many development initiatives.
