PM Narendra Modi has begun his 45-hour-long meditation session at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Tamil Nadu’s Kanniyakumari. Videos and pics shared by news agency ANI shows the Prime Minister meditating. The PM is also expected to offer prayers at the famous Sri Bhagavathy Amman temple and visit the Thiruvalluvar statue adjacent to the rock memorial before his departure on June 1. The BJP emphasised the significance of the rock where Modi will meditate, comparing it to Sarnath for Gautam Buddha. Vivekananda arrived here after traveling across the country, meditated for three days, and envisioned a developed India.
