Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress party on Tuesday, July 2, while replying to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in Lok Sabha. During his speech, the Indian Prime Minister said that the people of the country gave a mandate to the Congress in the 202. "The mandate of this country is that you sit there, sit in the opposition and when the arguments end, keep shouting," he added. Taking a jibe at the Congress-led INDIA Bloc, PM Narendra Modi said that the grand old party suffered its third biggest defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi further said that Congress is doing "Sirsasana" while trying to show the people of the country that they defeated the BJP-led NDA alliance.
