CM Vijayan’s official car and five other vehicles in his convoy were damaged in a pile-up accident at Vamanapuram. The incident occurred when a scooty abruptly turned into the convoy’s path from a side road. To avoid a collision, the pilot vehicle of the convoy braked suddenly, triggering a chain reaction. This led to five vehicles, including the Chief Minister’s, colliding with one another.
