Purnea (Purnia) MP Pappu Yadav has written a letter to the Centre and requested increased security from the government, citing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In his letter, Pappu Yadav warned that both the central and Bihar governments would be responsible for his safety. According to reports, Pappu Yadav allegedly received threatening calls from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Purported videos of the threatening call have also gone viral on social media. The development comes nearly two weeks after Bihar's Purnia (Purnea) MP Pappu Yadav said that he could "finish off within 24 hours" the network of Lawrence Bishnoi. Back then, Pappu Yadav had also criticised the law and order situation of the country, particularly in Maharashtra.
