A 32-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The news was confirmed by Tulinj Police, who said that the woman was gang raped at knifepoint in Santosh Bhavan in Palghar's Nalasopara area. Acting on the woman's statement, the Tulinj police registered a case against two accused, Jitendra Yadav and Avi Jaiswal. The accused have been booked under sections 70(1) and 351(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
