India is preparing a crucial operation to evacuate its citizens who want to return amid the ongoing Israel-Palestine War. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced the plan late on Wednesday, saying special chartered flights are being organised. On Thursday, October 12, MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated that Operation Ajay has been launched to facilitate the return of our citizens from Israel who wish to come back. “The first charter flight will be reaching Tel Aviv later tonight to pick up the Indian citizens and is likely to return to India tomorrow morning”, he added.
