National Conference leader Omar Abdullah took oath as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, October 16. The oath of office and secrecy was administered to Omar Abdullah by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre in Srinagar. Omar had previously served as the chief minister between 2009 and 2014.
