Sharma was hosting a press conference where he also picked the Indian team for the ODI series against South Africa. He also shared that once Kohli quit T20I captaincy, it was their call to have one skipper for white-ball cricket, adding that the right-hander is an integral part of the team.
India's chief selector Chetan Sharma on Friday, clarified that Virat Kohli was not asked to leave T20I captaincy. In a press conference, he addressed the issue and said that everyone asked Kohli to continue when he said that he did not want to remain T20I captain.
