Mumbai’s local train services will remain unaffected this Sunday, October 13, 2024, as there will be no Mega Block on Central, Harbour, Transharbour, or Western lines. However, the Central Railway’s Mumbai Division will conduct special traffic and power blocks for launching open web girders during the reconstruction of the Carnac Road Over Bridge. This will take place between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Masjid stations overnight on October 12-13 and October 13-14. Blocks will be in place from 12 am to 6 am on both nights, affecting services between Byculla and CSMT on the Main Line and Vadala Road and CSMT on the Harbour Line. Suburban trains will be short-terminated at Byculla, Parel, Kurla, and Vadala Road stations. Mumbai Traffic Update: Police Issue Advisory For Dussehra Melava in Shivaji Park on October 12, Check Routes to Avoid.
