This comes after a dispute over lighting firecrackers escalated into a clash between two groups, causing a tense situation that required significant police intervention in Indore’s Chhatripura area. Yadav asserted that maintaining law and order is paramount and his government is known for upholding good governance. On social media, Mohan Yadav addressed the incident, expressing disapproval of attempts to prevent children and others from celebrating Diwali with firecrackers. He stated, “No one has the right to stop others from celebrating festivals.” The Chief Minister further added that strict action would be taken against those disturbing peace, ensuring that people are allowed to celebrate festivals without fear.
