A school in Kothapally village in Telangana’s Nizamabad, has sparked controversy by serving rice mixed with chilli powder to students as their mid-day meal. Opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders have criticised the state government for providing substandard food and called for a review of meal quality in schools across the state. Former Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao condemned the Congress government, questioning the necessity of serving such food due to bland dal. He expressed his outrage on social media, highlighting the cancellation of a breakfast scheme initiated by the previous KCR government. "Is this the kind of atrocious food our school children deserve, Telangana CM? The KCR government launched a wonderful breakfast scheme for school children, which the Congress government has scrapped for no good reason. Now we see these kinds of reports, which are shocking," KTR tweeted. He urged the Telangana Chief Secretary to review the situation in all schools urgently. Telangana: BRS Leader KT Rama Rao Criticises Revanth Reddy, Rahul Gandhi, Accuses Them of Deceiving Unemployed Youth.
