The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) today, August 2024, released the NIRF India rankings for all categories. IIT Madras has been ranked as the top-ranked higher education institute in the country, followed by the Indian Institute of Science (Bengaluru), IIT-Bombay and IIT-Delhi. On the other hand, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, was ranked as the best university in the country, followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia of Delhi. The NIRF ranking lists will be available on the NIRF's official website, nirfindia.org. Meanwhile, Delhi University's Hindu College was ranked as the best college in the country, followed by Miranda House College and St. Stephen's College. IIT Madras also topped in the overall category.
