Local train services in Mumbai are likely to be affected as the Western Railway has announced a 4:30-hour night block between Borivali and Bhayandar stations. According to the announcement, the jumbo block will be taken up on the UP and Down slow lines between Borivali and Bhayandar stations from 00:00 AM to 04:35 AM. The Western Railway said the jumbo block is being carried out for maintenance work on tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment. They also said that all UP slow line trains will be operated on UP fast lines between Virar/Vasai Road to Borivali/Goregaon, and all Virar bound Down slow line trains will be operated on Down fast lines between Goregoan to Vasai Road/Virar stations.
