In a morning encounter on September 20, along the Dantewada-Sukma interdistrict border in Chhattisgarh, Dantewada District Reserve Guard (DRG) teams engaged with Naxals in the Hirma jungles. During a subsequent search operation, the bodies of two female Naxals were discovered, along with one 12-bore rifle and one INSAS rifle. Meanwhile, in Sukma, a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) jawan sustained injuries in an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) blast that occurred along the Kamarguda-Jagargunda road.
