The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) said that the main water pipeline of 1800 mm diameter from Morbe Dam, which supplies water to the NMMC area, has developed a leakage near Nerul Sector 46, Akshar Building on Palm Beach Road. Due to this, the water supply to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area from the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant will be shut off for repair work starting from 10:00 AM today, November 7. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), NMMC said that there will be no water supply in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area as well as Kharghar and Kamothe areas of CIDCO today evening. "The water supply tomorrow morning will be at low pressure as the main water main repair work is going on at war level," NMMC said.
