BJ leader Suvendu Adhikari today, August 27, took to X (formerly Twitter) and claimed that a few student activists who were distributing food to the volunteers at Howrah Station went missing all of a sudden. Sharing names of the student activists, the BJP leader said that the students were distributing food to the volunteers, who were arriving at Howrah Station before they went missing. "Neither they can be traced nor are they answering their phones. We apprehend that they may have been arrested/detained by the Mamata Police," Suvendu Adhikari's tweet read. Responding to the BJP leader's claim, West Bengal police said that the four students were planning to orchestrate large-scale violence during the Nabanna Abhijan. The police also said that the students were involved in a conspiracy of murder and attempted murder.
