The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday, October 4, arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. Reacting to her son being arrested, AAP MP Sanjay Singh's mother said, "It is an offence to arrest an innocent person like him." She also said that her son is innocent. "He is an honest person," she added. Sanjay Singh's arrest comes after the agency conducted searches at his residence earlier in the day in connection with the case.
