Gurinder Singh, a resident of Rupnagar, was arrested on the spot. After the shooting, a woman bolted the bank door from inside. Manvir was rushed to PGIMER, Chandigarh, but succumbed to his injuries during treatment. His friends escaped unhurt. The tragic incident has shocked the local community and raised concerns about security protocols in banks.
