The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday, June 14, said that conditions are favourable for further advancement of Southwest Monsoon into more parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and northwest Bay of Bengal during the next 3-4 days. The Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) has forecasted cloudy skies with a possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall with thundershowers in Mumbai today, June 15. The weather agency also said the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 30 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
