In light of the "Shab a Sahadat" Muharram procession scheduled to commence at 4:00 pm today, July 16, significant traffic congestion is anticipated along the route in Mumbai. Accordingly, the Mumbai Traffic Police has released an advisory. The procession will start from P Ismail Merchant (Nesbit Junction) and proceed through Sofia Zuber Junction, Sir J.J Junction, Mohammad Ali Marg, Pakmodi Street, and conclude at Jianbia Hall. In view of the procession, "No entry" will be there on several roads. Hence, Citizens are advised to avoid JJ Bridge after 5:30 pm. Alternative routes such as P D’Mello Road and NS Road are recommended. Authorities urge citizens to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic management efforts to ensure a smooth and safe procession.
