Three owners of a hotel were arrested for culpable homicide not amounting to murder after a 15-year-old boy died from electrocution in a well in Mumbai’s Chembur on Thursday while swimming. The boy’s uncle, Vaide Turbekar, filed a complaint against the owners of Ram Bharose restaurant. Police reported that locals had previously warned the hotel owners against using an electric motor to draw water from the well.
