Rejoiced Mumbaikars took to X to share videos of the season's first rainfall. The rains have offered major relief from the scorching heat. The Regional Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts.  These regions will likely receive thunderstorms accompanied by lightning & gusty winds (30-40kmph) at isolated places.
