Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the first phase of the Mumbai Metro 3 or Aqua Line on Saturday, October 5. Mumbai’s much-anticipated underground Metro Line 3 is poised to revolutionise the city’s transportation network. This initial segment will span a 12-kilometer stretch from Aarey Colony to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), featuring 10 operational stations. These 10 stations on Mumbai Metro 3 are Aarey Colony, Seepz, MIDC, Marol Naka, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (T2), Sahar Road, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (T1), Santacruz, Vidhyanagar and BKC. The Aqua Line promises to significantly enhance daily commuting in some of Mumbai’s busiest areas. It will incorporate cutting-edge technology, including driverless train operations managed by 48 trained captains, ensuring a modern, efficient, and eco-friendly urban transit system.
