Local train services resumed in the night on the Central Line after a brief "Rail Roko" protest at Badlapur Railway Station against the sexual assault of a girl student at a school in the city. GRP CR DCP Manoj Patil Wednesday said the situation is now normal and the railway movement has returned to normalcy. "The situation is normal, railway movement is also normal. No section has been imposed. Internet services will be suspended for a few days so that rumours do not spread," Patil said. Police were deployed at Badlapur Railway Station in Thane on Wednesday (August 21), where a massive protest was staged against the alleged sexual assault of two girl students in a reputed school.
