Heavy rainfall continued to lash several parts of Mumbai through the night and early hours of Tuesday, July 9, as the India Meteorological Department issued an orange alert for Mumbai for today. The weather agency has also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places in Mumbai till July 12. Amid all this, the local train services in Mumbai continue to work despite the city being battered by rainfall. Sharing an update at 8 AM, the Central Railway said local train services are running normally on all lines. The Western Railway also shared an update at 7.30 AM and said that trains are running normally on the Suburban section between Churchgate and Dahanu Road station. Similarly, local train services on the Harbour line between Mahim and Goregaon stations are also running normally.
