Since last night, heavy rainfall has battered Mumbai and its neighbouring areas, causing waterlogging in several areas of the city and water accumulation on railway tracks. The Central Railway shared an update at 10:40 AM and said that local train services on the Mainline Down and Up Fast line between CSMT and Thane stations were restored at a restricted speed. "Mail Express trains are also being moved," the tweet read. On the other hand, the Western Railway said that suburban trains are running upto 10 minutes late.
