Central Railway TTE Sunil Nainani has reached the Rs 1 crore milestone as he caught 10,428 ticketless passengers and collected ticket-checking earnings of over Rs 1 crore in the current fiscal year. Apart from Nainani, D Kumar, TTI (Travelling Ticket Inspector) of Headquarters (Mumbai), collected Rs 1.43 crore from 15,053 cases of unbooked baggage or travel without appropriate tickets. The income generated by such ticketless/irregular travel was Rs 193.62 crore during April-October 2022, compared to Rs 93.29 crore during the same period the previous year, representing a 107.54% increase.
