Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers protested at Vashi Toll Plaza in Navi Mumbai on Monday, October 9. The workers were demanding the abolition of toll tax for small vehicles and were later detained by the Police. Meanwhile, MNS chief Raj Thackeray said, “Our people will stand at toll booths and will not allow toll to be paid. If this is opposed, we will burn down the toll plaza. Let the government do whatever it wants to do next.” If the state government is saying that for four-wheelers, two-wheelers and three-wheelers, there is no toll, then these toll people are looting, he further added.
