A 10-hour mega block has been announced by the Western Railway for Sunday, September 8. The mega block on the Western lines Up and Down slow lines will be taken up between Goregaon and Kandivali stations from 00:00 AM to 10:00 AM during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. The mega block has been announced to facilitate the construction of the 6th line between Goregaon and Kandivali. Railways also said that a few suburban trains would be cancelled or short-terminated during the block.
