The Western Railway has announced a scheduled mega block between Borivali and Goregaon railway stations on Sunday, May 26. This block is necessary for maintenance work on tracks, signalling systems, and overhead equipment. During the five-hour block period from 10:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs, all up and down slow line trains will be diverted to the up and down fast line between Goregaon and Borivali stations. Passengers are advised to take note of these arrangements.Additionally, there will be a major block on the intervening night of May 25th/26th, 2024, for de-launching main girders of the Wankhede Foot Over Bridge (South) between Churchgate and Marine Lines stations. Some Mumbai Suburban trains will be short-terminated during this period.
