Passengers on the newly-inaugurated Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express accused the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) workers of harassment and misbehaviour inside the train on the same day it was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A video of a woman and a man accusing BJP workers of assaulting them onboard the Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express has surfaced on social media. In the video, the woman, Tania, and the man are seen interacting with media representatives, with microphones from various media houses visible. They allege that BJP workers prevented them from passing through a carriage, claiming it was reserved for BJP members, saying, “Yeh BhaJaPa ka cabin hai” (This is BJP’s cabin). As per Tania, the BJP workers initially allowed them to pass but created a scene when the duo attempted to return to their seats through the same carriage. PM Narendra Modi Flags Off 3 Vande Bharat Express Trains via Video Conferencing To Enhance Connectivity (Watch Videos).
