In another horrifying incident from Manipur, a tribal woman was allegedly raped and set on fire at her house by armed militants in Jiribam village. A case has been registered based on an FIR filed by the victim's husband, reports Hindustan Times. As per various reports, the perpetrators believed to be members of the radical Metei organization, attacked Zairawn village on the night of Thursday, November 7. The militants opened fire on villagers, further disrupting the fragile peace that had been maintained in the violence-ridden state for nearly two months. A disturbing video of the armed men attacking Zairawn village has been doing rounds on social media. According to NDTV, two women lost their lives in two days.
