Manipur: Amid Unrest, State Government Declares Entire State ‘Disturbed Area’ for 6 Months Under AFSPA

In light of the current law and order scenario, the Manipur administration designated the whole state a "disturbed area" on Wednesday. According to the state government's announcement, the whole state has been declared a "disturbed area" under the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), with the exception of 19 particular police station locations.
