A cloudburst late last night caused significant damage along the Manali-Leh National Highway (NH-003), leading to its closure from Dhundi to Palchan. Authorities have diverted all types of vehicles through the Atal Tunnel via Rohtang to Manali and warned the public to use alternative routes and travel only if necessary.  The cloudburst, which occurred near Anjani Mahadev adjacent to Solang Nala, resulted in severe flooding in Palchan. Debris accumulation on the Palchan bridge has forced the closure of the Manali-Leh route.
