The Noida Police have arrested a person accused of committing fraud across the city and the NCR region by impersonating an officer from the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). The accused, Indranil Roy from West Bengal, has been involved in multiple fraudulent activities from Noida to Ghaziabad and other NCR cities. The arrest occurred when Roy, staying at a hotel under the guise of a RAW officer, refused to pay his bill at checkout, claiming he was on a special mission for the Government of India. The hotel staff, finding his behaviour suspicious, alerted the police. Upon investigation, the police discovered Roy’s fraudulent activities and took him into custody. ADCP Manish Mishra confirmed the arrest and stated that Roy had been deceiving people by posing as a RAW officer.
