In a bid to manage crowding and ensure smooth passenger movement during the upcoming festive season, Central Railway has announced temporary restrictions on the sale of platform tickets at several major stations. The affected stations include Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Thane, Kalyan, Pune, and Nagpur. The restrictions are effective immediately and will remain in place until November 8, coinciding with the celebrations of Diwali and Chhath Puja.
