A Namibian cheetah named 'Aasha' gave birth to three cubs at Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park in Sheopur district. Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav took to X, formerly twitter and shared the video of the newly-born cubs. The 21-second video clip shows the adorable cheetah cubs purring in their den as they snuggled up with each other. Bhupender Yadav thanked PM Narendra Modi for the success of Project Cheetah and said, "Thrilled to share that Kuno National Park has welcomed three new members. The cubs have been born to Namibian Cheetah Aasha. This is a roaring success for Project Cheetah, envisioned by PM Modi to restore ecological balance". He also congratulated experts, officials involved in the project. Eight cheetahs were brought from Namibia in mid-September 2022 and were translocated to Kuno National Park as part of project aimed at reviving their population in India. Cheetah Translocated to India From Namibia Gave Birth to Four Cubs, Says Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav (Watch Video).
